- For student project submissions & organization submissions, a lab member will price your project, taking into account the material, equipment, and labor fees associated with your project.
- Once completed, our lab will send a confirmation email (including the price) to get a confirmation on whether or whether not to proceed.
- If you decide to continue, payment would be required when picking up your project (card payments only).

No, our lab is only accessible to our trained workers. If you need any assistance or would like to submit a project, we invite you to complete the Project Submission Form
Yes, of course! If this is the case, there is a "Bring Your Own Material" option in the project submission form.
Once the form is submitted, you will receive an email with further instructions on how and where to drop off your material.

This highly depends on the print or cut time. Most projects once submitted (or confirmed if necessary), are started the same or next business day.

Yes! Anyone who is a student or faculty member of the university is available to submit projects and receive assistance!
Yes it is! We are open from 8 to 5 on weekdays and available to answer any questions or submissions at our email prototyping@email.latech.edu.

Project prices also depend on the dimensions of the material needed. This will be communicated in the project submission response.
We highly recommend using SolidWorks. However, any program can be as long as it exports STL for 3D printing or a DXF for laser cutting or waterjetting
To find out where your project is, check the "Project Status" on the homepage of the website. If it is completed, it can be picked up on weekdays in IESB 118 from 8 AM to 5PM.
